Modem 3G Huawei E160 en ubuntu
(Advertencia, el servicio es pésimo evitenlo dentro de los posible)

En el negocio le pusieron el chip y realizaron la activación, por lo tanto lo único que tuve que hacer es sacarlo del paquete y enchufarlo. Como se ve en la imagen, viene un alargue USB para que podamos tenerlo un poco más lejos de la PC.

The chip and the activation was made in the store, so I only had to unbox it and plug it on the USB, as you can see in the image I used a cable (included) to keep the modem away from the computer.

En la parte superior izquierda del escritorio está el ícono de redes, clickendo con el botón derecho se abre el menú contextual y luego EDITAR LAS CONEXIONES.

The networks icon in the gnome bar, right click for the menu and then go to EDIT CONECTIONS.

Click MOBILE WIDE BAND tab on NETWORK CONNECTIONS popup, and click on ADD boton. Click FORWARD on te WELCOME popup.

En mi caso detectó mi país (fué indicado cuando instalé ubuntu), y me presenta los proveedores de telefonía móvil que están disponibles, en mi caso es MOVISTAR. luego click en adelante

In my case it detected my country (indicated on ubuntu instalation), and presented the 3 mayor mobile providers, I´ve chosen MOVISTAR , the click FORWARD.

Se agrega un nombre a la conexión, yo la voy a nombrar Marquitux y luego click en APLICAR.

add a name to this conection, I will call it Marquitux, then click APPLY.

De nuevo en la ventana de CONEXIONES DE RED, se selecciona la conexión que se acaba de crear y luego click en EDITAR para configurar las opciones de la misma.
En la ventana emergente, el conectar AUTOMATICAMENTE debe estar activado y se llena el codigo PIN y PUK provistos por la empresa de telefonía celular que da el servicio 3G. Click OK para continuar.

Back on the NETWORK CONECTIONS, select the new connection and click on EDIT to modify its system options.
In the popup make sure to have the AUTOMATIC CONNECT checker on, and fill the PIN and PUK fields with the numbers given by the 3G mobile service provider company.
Click OK to continue.

Una vez aplicados los cambios, hay que esperar a que el modem encuentre la antena, click con el botón izquierdo del mouse para abrir éste menú y luego click en la conexión móvil (en mi caso se llama Marquitux).

Once applyed, must wait until the modem finds and antena to connect, then left click to open a context menu and then click on the connection (Marquitux in my case).

Eso es todo, el modem luego de un rato se conecta y está listo para usar la conexión 3G, lamento que no haya muchas más instrucciones pero la verdad que es muy sencillo, agradezco a Paola Urban mi chica, quien me hizo dar cuenta del menú que acabo de mencionar en el punto anterior.
En la imagen pueden ver que estoy bajando 6 videos con MIRO (programa multimedia para contenidos online), alguno de ellos son HD.

Ok that´s it, it connects to internet and you are ready to go. Unfortunately there are no further intructions it´s quite simple, I thank Paola Urban, my girl which helped me to find the contect menu just mentioned in the last point.
In the image, you can see I´m downloading 6 video files using MIRO (multimedia app to download online media), some of them are HD.
